Augmedix Training Team:

The Augmedix training team is responsible for the full training life cycle of our Documentation Specialists/Medical Scribes. From developing the skills of brand new medical scribes to maintaining ongoing training programs for experienced medical scribes, and everything in between. The training team works with our employees in the US and globally, covering specialty training, EHR training, and specialty/physician specific training. In order to provide the best support for our US wide physicians, our training team is split into three disciplines: Classroom Training, Implementation Training, and Production Training. We believe in dividing and conquering, with quality being our number one priority!

About the Implementation Team:

The implementation team focuses on training medical scribes with physicians and providers new to the Augmedix service, or as we call it implementations. Trainers here will focus on establishing a workflow between scribes and providers to ensure a smooth and timely transition to Augmedix. This team is vital to the success of onboarding new physicians and providers to Augmedix!

About the Role:

Our Sr. Training Specialist will primarily be responsible for overseeing implementations, and providing emergency coverage as needed. Sr. Training Specialist will work on developing the training team we have, escalating an issues for at risk accounts, and working 1:1 with the Implementation Training Manager to disperse new training materials/programs for implementation training specialists. We expect our STS's to be thought leaders, motivators and will help lead the team to success.

Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):
  • Monitoring OUS TS, spot-checking initial implementation assignments
  • 2-3 hours per implementation day for each implementation assignment
  • Overseeing Clinician Provider Guide
  • 4 hours for each CPG
  • Implementation training support:
  • At risk accounts flagged by the provider or internally
  • Accounts that can be accelerated
  • Scribe reassignments: 4-6 hours/week
  • No primary implementation assignments but may be responsible for emergency coverage up to 25%
Requirements:
  • 6+ Months as a Tier 3 Training Specialist
  • Train 5+ scribes to doctor ready status (or worked through 5+ implementations)
  • Solid understanding of Augmedix training process
  • Experience training other trainers
  • Proven record of process improvement (design and implementation/change management)
  • Lead by example - model for other trainers
  • Participation in at least two training projects (and seen at least one to completion)
