Scribe Manager

Augmedix is a health care services technology platform deployed in 40 states with many of the nation’s largest health systems. We provide remote, real-time EHR scribing and associated services to outpatient doctors. Our service saves clinicians more than 10 hours a week and increases clinic efficiency by 40%. We are looking for a Scribe Manager to join our Operations eam!

This role is responsible for scribe management of their assigned site or sites which includes full responsibility of scheduling, training, and assignments. The scribe manager works closely with the account management team to provide excellent customer service yielding a high level of customer satisfaction. This role also includes performance management, leading of monthly team meetings, and bimonthly 1:1s with scribe team.

Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
  • Create monthly schedules on scheduling software to ensure 100% shift coverage
  • Create break schedules for all scribes to ensure 100% break compliance
  • Assist in the development of 2-3 scribes depth on every provider
  • Review vacation requests and assist in finding coverage for approved vacations
  • Approve timesheets on a daily basis and complete payroll
  • Complete all weekly reports and administrative tasks includes forecast summary, promotion tracker, and headcount
  • Assist in expansion and scribe transition project planning at designated site
  • Assist in training of new scribes on customer preferences for designated site
  • Retain EHR access and scribe for all providers at designated site
Qualifications:
  • 1 - 3 years experience managing a team
  • Significant medical scribe experience
  • Very strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Project management skills with a strong ability to prioritize and deliver timely work
  • Keen attention to detail in execution and forms of communication
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects accordingly
  • Passionate about ensuring world-class customer service to clients
  • Effectively communicate between internal departments and work well with different personalities
  • Flexibility within an ever-changing/evolving, fast-paced, yet thrilling world of healthcare and start-ups
  • Eagerness to learn about the company, industry, and clients
  • Proficient with MS Office products, especially PowerPoint, Word and ExcelDesire and ability to contribute ideas to brainstorms
